Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Sister

Sally Ann (Cahoon) Lent, 84, of Maynard, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 9, 2018, surrounded by her family.

Born in Concord, Massachusetts on July 6, 1934, Sally was the daughter of the late Harold and Ruth (Asbjornson) Cahoon. She was raised and educated in Concord, graduating from Concord High School. Sally married James in April of 1954. They settled in Stow and raised their family together, moving to Maynard in 1994.

Sally taught pre-school at St. Isadore's Church in Stow for many years. She changed careers and transitioned to working at Emerson Hospital as a Unit Clerk until she retired.

Family was most important to Sally. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially attending their hockey games. She was their biggest and loudest fan! Her little great-grandchildren are the next generation to steal her heart.

Sally is survived by her husband James D. Lent Jr. of Maynard; her children, Linda and husband Jonathan Bretz of Maynard, Bob and wife Gail Lent of Sterling and Doug and wife Sharon Lent of Stow.; her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren and her brother Harold Cahoon Jr. of Brick, New Jersey.

Condolence & Memory Journal

Linda, I just heard of Sally's passing. I have such fond memories of working with her up on TCU-we had lots of laughs on the weekends. And then I was lucky enough to get to know her in her home. She was always one of my favorite coworkers. And oh how she loved her grandson!!! we loved to hear those stories back when he was in highschool. thinking of you all.
