My warmest Aloha to John and the family. Lee was an amazing volunteer at our cat shelter, Joeys Feline, on her visits to Oahu. The cats in her care loved her tremendously. I missed her visits the last years and think of her often. God give you peace in knowing she's free! Tedra, Kaneohe Hi

To the Dunn family. I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Lee. We were great friends in our high school years. As neighbors we spent a lot of time together. She and I went horseback riding in Stow and on many occasions brought home stray kittens. We used to tell our parents the kittens followed us home. I am also godmother to a couple of her and John's children. We have not seen each other for many years, but I would be grateful if I could be notified of the time for the celebration of life. My e-mail is fourkids10grand@aol.com. I would so much like to attend. John knows me as Angie.

To the Dunn Family,

I'm sorry for your loss. My mom RoseMarie Shaw was good friends with Lee. She was always such a kind woman. I will always appreciate her kindness to my mom when her health was failing.

To the family Dunn: Mr. D, Jonny, Patty, Suzen, Laura, Elizabeth, and Eric. I am truly sorry for your loss. She was a remarkable woman.
Through the eyes of the child that knew her she was beautiful, kind and giving, with a notable sense of purpose. The years pass quickly. Now grown, I can look back and see her beauty came from an earthly heart, accepting and grounded; her kindness and generosity from a wise and empathic soul; and her drive from being mindful and present to moments most of us never notice. I'll hold on to my childhood view because it's simple and vivid. And Mrs. D would have asked us all to not let age diminish our sense of wonder.
Respectfully yours,
Peter

Mrs. Dunn was like a second mom to me while spending many summers hanging out at the All Dunn Inn in Ocean Park. I will always remember her vivacious outlook on life as well as her generosity, creativity, and warmth. She made me feel as if I was just another Dunn when I was around her, which, to me, was the highest compliment she could've given me. I'm devastated for your loss and give you my deepest condolences.
