Condolence & Memory Journal

Anna worked with me at GR in Concord. She was just a great person. She use to kid with me all the time, what a sense of humor. I had a Italian wife and we kidded on who made the best meatballs, my Sicilian wife or her. I never lost, I was her Foreman, she told me, she was just brown nosing me only to get a raise, what a since of humor.

Dear Grace, Jeanne and children,
My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your lovely mother and grandmother. Heaven has gained another beautiful soul. May she rest in peace.

Anna was a wonderful lady. I enjoyed talking with her and lucky on many occasions at the glen. R.I.P ANN

I met Anna shortly after she moved to Concord Park. Although her short term memory was poor we found a common link with living in Concord in the 1950s and with her daughter Grace, my hair stylist. I would ask her if she remembered Larry Kenny clearing the snow from the town sidewalks with his horse-drawn plow and her eyes would light up. A nostalgic conversation would follow. Less frequent over the recent months but continuing up to 2-3 weeks before her death when I last spoke with her. I shall remember that with fondness. A good life, well lived.

Good speed, Anna, on your final journey.

I just learned of this. I am so sorry. Anna was such a sweet person. What a wonderful life she had.

Dear Jeanne, Grace, grandchildren, and great grandchildren,

Nino and I are so sorry to not be there for Aunt Anna's services as we are flying out tomorrow on a long planned trip. She was a very wise and wonderful woman and we will miss her dearly. She is joyfully reunited with Eddie, Patricia, and her parents, brothers, and sisters in heaven and awaits the day we all will join her....
