When I was an elementary school student I used to take piano lessons from Mrs. Hebert in Maynard. Fr. DuFour took lessons right before I did. When I hadn't been practicing as much as I should have Fr. DuFour used to encourage me and tell me that he didn't practice that week either. He always made me feel better...and he made me laugh! Sorry to hear of his loss.

Remembering a sermon when I was a young mother. Father Dufour was out of town staying with a family who had 5 children. He said, the closest thing to praying for this mother of 5 was when her child sneezed and she said, God bless you He was always available if you needed him! Great priest,
great person!

The Malcolm family (Jack, Sheila, Tracy and Steve) have nothing but wonderful memories of our times with Fr. Louis. From our skiing adventures, to our weekends at the Chalet, and all our fun times at Seabrook Beach. He was such a wonderful host and always showed us the best times. We will miss you forever, Louis❤. RIP
